TigerSats enrolls in MaxIQ launch project to the ISS!

Sept. 1, 2024

The TigerSats Lab enrolled Princeton into a program offered by longtime STEM outreach collaborator MaxIQ that enables our students to design small, bread-slice-sized microgravity experiments to be launched on a SpaceX resupply mission to the International Space Station in 2026!  The experiments will operate for a 6+ week mission, and then be returned back to Earth for inspection and data analysis (and also, incidentally, as nice space-qualified souvenirs for our students!).

The project will be offered via a new “Orbital” subteam in our illustrious Rocketry Club.  The new subteam student members designing, building, and testing the experiments will be:

Weiheng Fu (Grad)
