Involvement in TigerSats is currently restricted to MAE students (although we are always looking for scientific mission ideas from other Princeton departments!). There are a few typical ways to get involved: MAE's SPRE Summer Internship Program (often the summer after freshman or sophomore year; see here). Apply to Mike Galvin as your advisor. A single-semester Independent Work project (often junior year, but occasionally sophomore or senior year; see here). Apply to Mike Galvin as your advisor. Full-year Senior Thesis. Apply to Mike Galvin as your advisor. There are occasional opportunities for extracurricular volunteer work in between each of the above projects. You may apply for any or all of the above options independently, but preference is given to applicants who are potentially interested in living a "CubeSat life" by completing the entire series! No binding multiyear commitment is ever required.
