There are a few typical ways to get involved:The TigerSats in StudioLab extracurricular student group, meeting in the StudioLab every Wednesday evening of the school year (drop-in/drop-out anytime during 5-9pm open hours). Be sure to check the StudioLab's own schedule (above) for open hours and closure schedule. MAE's SPRE Summer Internship Program (often the summer after freshman or sophomore year; see here). Apply to Mike Galvin as your advisor. Enroll in the MAE348 course ("TigerSats: Small Spaceflight Hardware Projects"), offered every fall semester (and then continue on into MAE349 in the spring!). Open to sophomores, juniors & seniors. There are occasional opportunities for extracurricular volunteer work in between each of the above programs.You may apply for any or all of the above options independently, but preference is given to applicants who are potentially interested in living a "CubeSat life" by completing the entire series! No binding multiyear commitment is ever required.
